Question : Why be concerned about Freemasonry?

Answer : Because of Generational Cursing!

Key Bible Reading - EXODUS 20:4-6 and DEUTERONOMY 5:8-10 (The 2nd of the TEN COMMANDMENTS)

"You shall not make for yourself any carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on [or 'upon'] the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments."

(i) Who commits the sin?

(ii) Who bears the punishment?

An example of long lasting 'generational cursing'.......

Matthew 27:21-25 ...... The Jewish crowd cries for blood ...... "Pilate said to them, 'What then shall I do with Jesus who is called Christ?' They all said to Him, 'Let Him be crucified!' Then the governor said, 'Why, what evil has He done?' But they cried out all the more, saying, 'Let Him be crucified!' When Pilate saw he could not prevail at all, but rather that a tumult was rising, he took water and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, 'I am innocent of the blood of this just person. You see to it.' And all the people answered and said, 'His blood be on us and on our children.'"

Background of a secret society

Acts 19:23-29 ...... the fearfulness of an exclusive and superstitious craft ...... "And about that time there arose a great commotion about the Way. For a certain man named Demetrius, a silversmith, who made silver shrines of Diana, brought no small profit to the craftsmen. He called them together with the workers of similar occupation, and said: 'Men, you know that we have our prosperity by this trade. Moreover you see and hear that not only at Ephesus, but throughout almost all Asia, this Paul has persuaded and turned away many people, saying that they are not gods which are made with hands. So not only is this trade of ours in danger of falling into disrepute, but also the temple of the great goddess Diana may be despised and her magnificence destroyed, whom all Asia and the world worship.' And when they heard this, they were full of wrath and cried out, saying, 'Great is Diana of the Ephesians!' So the whole city was filled with confusion, and rushed into the theatre with one accord, having seized Gaius and Aristarchus, Macedonians, Paul's travelling companions."

Freemasons are members of The Free And Ancient Order of Masons, a continuation of the stonemasons’ guilds of the Middle Ages. They were the builders and stonecutters for the great castles and cathedrals of Europe, moving from site to site as their skills were required. Mostly self-employed and unmarried, they were described as ‘free’ masons. Much of their construction work was done in makeshift workshops called ‘lodges.’ Each craftsman was associated with an assembly of ‘Master’ masons, who determined rights of employment and the level of skills training required for their apprentices.

It is understandable that these largely illiterate and itinerant tradesmen came to consider their ‘lodge’ to be the most important thing in their lives - a source of continuity and security when everything else in their existence was subject to uncertainty and change. As they moved around feudal Europe, they developed secret passwords and special handshakes to identify themselves to one another, and became increasingly protective of the interests of their particular ‘lodge’ against challenges from all outsiders.

Idolatry and Syncretism - (the fusion or blending of religions):

2 Corinthians 6:14-17 …… ‘touch not the unclean/impure/foul thing’ ……

"Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God. As God has said: ‘I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God and they shall be My people.’ Therefore ‘Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Do not touch what is unclean, and I will receive you.’"

Modern masonry has its spiritual origins in the 18th century, when a concerted effort was made to remove all references to Jesus Christ and Almighty God, and heavily occultist rituals and a syncretic God figure were introduced in their place. The vast majority of the membership belong to the Blue Lodge (or lower 3 degrees), and knowledge of who they are actually worshipping is with-held from them. 'The Entered Apprentice' or 1st degree, 'The Fellow Craft' or 2nd degree, and 'The Master Mason' or 3rd degree, are given vague and inoffensive titles such as 'The Grand Architect of the Universe.' It is only as they advance to higher degrees that the name of their deity is revealed to them and his identity more firmly established.

The process begins with an amalgamation of the Jewish Jehovah (JAH), the Babylonian Baal (BUL), and the Egyption Osiros (ON), to form 'Jah-Bul-On.' Later degrees go on to acknowledge the ancient Egyptian gods (Osiros, Isis, Horus), the old Celtic and Norse gods (Odin, Frea, Thor), and the Hindu gods (Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva). But only those of the highest degrees are made aware that the one they really worship is Lucifer (Is 14:12), who is Satan (Rev 12:9).

Breaking the curse ......

Galations 3:13-14 "Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us, (for as it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree'), that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith."

Colossians 2:13-14 "And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross."

When ministering to those afflicted by the curse of Freemasonry, a general consensus appears to have emerged regarding those specific spiritual entities that need to be rebuked. The more obvious are:

Renouncing of all false oaths and the spirit of cursing

The spirit of Freemasonry and the curse of Luciferian doctrine

The power of Witchcraft and spirits of the Occult and Death

A spirit or spirits of Antichrist and Deception Spirits of Idolatry, Blasphemy, and False Worship

Spirits of Secrecy, Superstition, and Bondage to Tradition

Less obvious perhaps, but equally binding to those concerned, are:

Pride (the love of position and power) and Greed (the love of money)

Inability to relate to others emotionally - particularly wives

Spirits of cynicism, emotional hardness, scepticism, and unbelief

Spirits of mental confusion, doubt, and spiritual apathy

Fear of men, suspicion, fear of trusting, lack of faith, little faith

Fear of death, particularly difficulty in breathing or abdominal and chest pain (associated with initiation rites)

Family heritage of insanity, sickness, infirmity, or allergies

Continual difficulty with financial affairs and business insolvency

Afterthoughts - putting it in perspective

Some of this study may witness to your spirit, prompting a need to pray special prayers of deliverance for yourselves and your children. Equally valid is that most of it will not. You may recognise skewed patterns of behaviour that seem to have passed down through your family, and which you now believe to relate to an ancestral involvement with Freemasonry. But for many of you, real peace will continue to be found in the personal promises and assurances that Jesus gives to you.

"Peter, an apostle of Jesus Christ, ..[wrote].. Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time." (1 Pe 1:1,3-5).
